Toyo R610
The
Toyo R610 is a strange tyre coming from Toyo. Toyo
have long been associated with high performance tyres
such as their Toyo Proxes tyres, yet the Toyo R610
is a decidedly non-sports tyre. However on the plus
side this tyre has a very long road life and road
noise is also very low. Tyre performance is reasonable
for a non-directional tyre, but if you're looking
for slightly more performance you should maybe look
at the Bridgestone
RE040 or the Pirelli
P6000.

Toyo Proxes T1-R
The
Toyo Proxes T1-R is a top of the range high performance
tyre. Toyo have long been a popular choice for modified
Subaru's and Evo Lancers. There's no reason why these
tyres couldn't be fitted to other performance cars
such as BMW's M3 or Audi's S4. It may just be an image
problem, but whatever the reason, this is the BMW/Audi
drivers loss as the Toyo Proxes T1-R is an
excellent performance tyre. Other tyres to consider
in this range include the Goodyear
GSD3 and the Avon
ZZ3.
